Corporate values
ALUTECTA manufactures in Germany. Our staff bring with them the necessary expertise gained from over 55 years of working with aluminium, combined with the flexibility of a medium-sized company. „Constant change, driven by a commitment to improvement and innovation, forms the basis of ALUTECTA's corporate philosophy,“ says M. Oswald. ALUTECTA conducts research into new surfaces, manufacturing methods and products. Energy-efficient production facilities and in-house energy generation with heat and cold recovery help to save energy. ALUTECTA is proud of the projects it has completed, and our contribution is often the key visual element of the architecture – for example, in the information pavilion in Hamburg's Überseequartier, at the Biomedical Research Centre in Gießen, and in our own high-bay warehouse. ALUTECTA operates regionally, yet our products are also used internationally – for example, on the Eiffel Tower in Paris. You can find further examples under „Case Studies“. Metalworkers and industrial firms, both locally and across the region, utilise and benefit from this product range, which makes ALUTECTA one of the leading companies in the field of surface finishing.
And so, products that have passed through the Kirchberg facilities can be found not only in the Hunsrück, but everywhere – from aeroplanes and cars to ships; from exterior architectural applications to high-end designer furniture; from high-tech audio equipment to robust engineering profiles; from functional products for the medical and sanitary sectors to decorative shop fittings; engraved metal sheets, fall protection systems, … Acting regionally – designing internationally.
We have deep roots in the region. And because we nurture these roots, we became a brand partner of the Rhineland-Palatinate Gold Initiative in 2025.
History – In 1970, ALUTECTA Gesellschaft für Aluminiumprodukte mbH was founded in the newly opened industrial estate in Kirchberg. The Kirchberg site was chosen for strategic reasons – its location made it possible to supply metalworkers and industrial firms not only locally but throughout the entire region stretching from the Rhine-Main area, Trier, Luxembourg and Koblenz right through to the Ruhr region using the company's own fleet of lorries. Well-trained staff from the skilled trades and agriculture sectors made it easier to build up a production team. Favourable economic conditions enabled us to grow to a healthy, efficient size within a few years and to offer 140 employees stable employment to this day. Some of our longest-serving employees have been with us for the entire history of the company – more than 50 years. From the very beginning, apprenticeships have been a key aspect of the company's policy, and ALUTECTA has been awarded the Certificate for the Promotion of Young Talent by the Federal Employment Agency in recognition of its outstanding commitment to apprenticeships. However, alongside apprenticeships and further training, it is the employees' many years of experience in particular that form the basis for processing around 4,000 orders per month.
Development – Until the mid-1980s, ALUTECTA operated as an anodising plant and a manufacturer of aluminium components. In 1988, its production capacity was expanded to include a facility for powder coating. Today, CNC machining centres for sheet metal and profiles form the basis for a wide range of products, which are manufactured as a service for customers across all sectors. The high-bay warehouse for aluminium profiles up to 7 metres in length optimises logistics, offers a high degree of flexibility and significantly reduces delivery times.
