Architecture in SANDALOR^® blue S150-4

Anodised surfaces offer a wide range of design possibilities for exterior applications. Aluminum sheets and profiles, for example, can be coloured using the Sandalor process. In Berlin, the windows and facade elements were dyed dark blue after anodising. SANDALOR^® colours are ideally suited for architectural applications. The Berlin-based architectural firm Deadline Architekten used a combination of wood and aluminum surfaces for the facade design of the Frizz23 cultural and commercial building. Due to functional requirements, the company Metallbau Windeck had the sheet metal elements custom-made by ALUTECTA and fitted with cutouts before anodising. Using sheets and profiles from a single supplier ensures optimal quality.
