Anodisation Bronze classic 2 for aluminium windows in Andreasturm Zürich
In their design, architects Gigon / Guyer used colour as a structuring element in the facade of the 80-meter-high Andreasturm in Zurich. Horizontal glass surfaces with textile mesh in two different gold tones are visually connected by the vertical aluminum windows in anodised bronze classic 2. The architectural duo focused on the reflection, refraction, and interplay of light in their choice of surfaces, constantly modulating the colour effect and bringing the building's appearance to life. Anodized surfaces offer precisely this vibrant look. The combination of aluminum and anodizing is unique; the metallic appearance is authentic, the feel is very pleasant, and anodized aluminum offers metalworkers unrestricted processing possibilities. In general, clients and building owners benefit from the durability of anodized aluminum surfaces.
