Office Building with Facade Panels

With the introduction of brioxAL^®, the high-gloss, anodised aluminum sheets, W. Hartmann & Co. GmbH and ALUTECTA opened a new dimension in design for architectural applications at Architect@Work in winter 2025. We are delighted to present a very successful example of the very first office building featuring brioxAL^® facade panels. The Berlin-based company Dieringer Blechbearbeitung OHG uses three different EV1 silver anodised architectural elements for the mixed facade:

1. brioxAL^® high-gloss aluminum sheets for the vertical facade panels
2. Standard matt-etched aluminum sheets E6 EV1 for the roller shutter boxes
3. Perforated sheets for the balcony railing elements

Airy Facade in Berlin

The stepped building is structured by four „bands“. Glass facades, roller shutter boxes, and railings form horizontal lines that are visually supported by vertical brioxAL^® columns. The soft reflection of these brioxAL^® surfaces mirrors the brightness and colors of the surroundings, extends visual lines such as those of the railings, and creates a transparent, airy, and almost see-through effect—breaking through the horizontal elements and making them appear to float.
