Miniatouring relies on "Made in Germany" for its two compact caravan models, leveraging the manufacturing expertise of ALUTECTA, which can mill and coat sheet metal up to a size of 6 x 2 meters. The side panels are milled from a single piece of aluminum sheet, powder-coated on one side in the desired RAL color, and delivered ready for assembly. The electrostatically charged powder adheres evenly to the cut edges, ensuring optimal edge coverage despite the single-sided coating.
There is no material waste during the milling process. Sheet metal elements such as doors, lids, and covers remain fixed in place by a few retaining clips. This allows all necessary parts to be powder-coated in a single operation without additional fixing or effort. The precision of the milling machine allows the retaining clips to be reduced to half the sheet thickness, making them easy to remove during assembly at Miniatouring.

CNC Sheet metal processing
- Large-format sheet metal fabrication
- The 1.5 mm thin sheet metal panels are positioned on a nearly vertical CNC milling machine and held in place by vacuum clamping.
- The side panels are milled to the desired contour using the CNC sheet metal milling machine.
- Doors, lids, and covers are secured by struts.
- A protective film remains on the front.
Powder coating
- Removal of protective film
- Hanging and electrical grounding
- Pretreatment with degreasing and application of a conversion coating/adhesion layer, followed by oven drying
- The pretreatment creates a continuous corrosion protection layer on both the front and back
- Only the front is coated
- A hanging device allows for the attachment of two sheets
- Coating in the desired RAL color
- Thanks to the electrical charging in the spray guns, the color powder is evenly distributed on the surfaces and edges
- The color powder forms a continuous film in the melting oven
- Quality control and assurance according to GSB and Qualicoat standards
