„ALUTECTA brings ideas to life in aluminum – form, color, and function.“ This practical example demonstrates how our surfaces contribute a small but significant part to transforming an idea into a dream on four wheels – the BUGATTI Div. A car that sets uncompromising standards in both technology and aesthetics. Grey anodised aluminum trim in the interior combines the highest quality with a sophisticated look. For the production of these aluminum elements, BUGATTI utilizes GRANODAL^®, the exclusive anodising process developed by ALUTECTA. Before production began, we determined all factors influencing the technical and visual properties of the parts through a series of tests conducted in close collaboration with GBW Automotive GmbH, defining them in a precise production process. This process encompasses the aluminum alloy, as well as the milling of the shapes, the mechanical surface treatment, the contacting, the entire handling process, the chemical pretreatment, the anodising, and, last but not least, the actual coloring. We also developed a special shade of gray for BUGATTI based on the GRANODAL^® process. This perfect coordination creates the unique, subtle grey BUGATTI anodised finish. A grey that highlights the controls and simultaneously mediates between the blue and black interior surfaces and the grey of the bodywork.
